A special group of bags suitable for explosive environments or for the transport and storage of potentially explosive materials that can form electrostatic charges. The design of our electrostatic bags and their testing are governed by the ČSN EN IEC 61340-4-4, ČSN EN 61340-2-3 standards. The foil used in these bags is either L1 (conductive) or L2 (antistatic)
The safety of Type C bags is ensured by operational measurement of each bag produced and the inspector's signature on the bag's security label.
According to the minimum ignition energy, the bags are divided into three types:
Type A – standard bag with no electrostatic discharge requirements
Type B – is made of materials that prevent sparks and creeping cluster discharges through the walls of the FIBC. The breakdown voltage of the bag wall must be less than or equal to 6 kV.
Type C – is made of conductive materials that prevent ignition sparks, cluster discharges and creeping discharges. Conductive bag with the need for grounding during filling and emptying. The surface resistance of each location of the bag to ground is less than 1x108 Ω.
Type D - is made of materials with special fibers (Crohmiq®Blue") that prevent ignition sparks, cluster discharges and creeping discharges. Conductive bag without grounding requirements. Electric charge is eliminated by dispersion - air ionization.
